From plantation to Special Coffee

Protagonist of the place where its name comes from, Guatemala Huehuetenango Joya Grande Special Coffee has Arabica as its variety, with the different kinds of Special Coffees: Catuaì, Caturra and Bourbon. Oxbe, the plantation, is on an altitude between 1370 mt and 1830 mt above sea level and the coltivation enjoys partial shadow because of high vegetation. Guatemala Huehuetenango Coffee beans are harvested from December to April, when rain is quite rare, the coffee production follows the classic method where the product is washed and then dried in the sun.

A Special Coffee from Guatemala

Guatemala Huehuetenango Joya Grande is one of the Special Coffees with interesting intensity that recalls, thanks to its aroma, a lovable acidity on one side, the sweet of orange honey on the other. Tasting it, the citrus fruits acidity and berries fruity overtones mix with walnuts and cocoa warmth, giving a special coffee with multiple uses, that can maintain its organoleptic properties not just in espressos, but also through several extration methods. Thanks to Casa Fiorilli artisan production, it is great tasting it on its own to capture its sweetness and its sour spirit.
